Konami announced today that Metal Gear Online, the multiplayer component to Metal Gear Solid 4, now has a million members worldwide. In celebration of the milestone, they'll be throwing free stuff and discounts your way.

From November 25th to December 9th, every player who accesses Metal Gear Online will get 10,000 reward points for purchasing new gear at the in-game store. Ten players apiece from North America, Europe, and Asia will be selected at random on December 9th and awarded an additional 100,000 points. Anyone who logs onto Metal Gear Online during this period is eligible for the drawing.

Additionally, a bundle with the GENE and MEME expansion packs will be available this holiday season for $14.99. Perhaps as an added bonus they might promise to stop giving the expansion packs such crappy names, but don't count on that.
