Microsoft: PS3 Won't Get Lost And Damned

Lately there's been some talk about Grand Theft Auto IV's exclusive Xbox 360 expansion, The Lost and Damned, and whether or not it'll end up on the PS3 after an alleged six-month exclusivity agreement between Microsoft and Take-Two Interactive expires. So what does Microsoft think of this chatter?

"The [GTAIV] episodes are exclusive to Xbox 360," a Microsoft rep told GameSpot. Microsoft probably isn't the entity you'd want to contact to find out about content coming to the PS3, truth be told, but Sony and Take-Two Interactive aren't commenting on the matter so there's not much choice for gaming journos, there.

The Lost and Damned was released through Xbox Live on February 17th and if the exclusivity agreement is really only six months long, that means Sony could get their paws on it in August. Microsoft paid $50 million for LaD and a future DLC episode to be released only on the Xbox 360. Does $25 million only buy you six months? Really?
