Mirror's Edge PC Release Date, DLC DetailsAuthor: Pete Haas

PC gamers have to endure a longer wait than 360/PS3 owners for Mirror's Edge but it'll be in your hands in a little over a month. EA has announced that the game will hit store shelves in mid-January and will be followed by the release of the game's first downloadable content.
The game will be available on PC in North America on January 13th and worldwide on January 16th. No differences between the PC and console versions. I suspected PC gamers would miss out on the DLC, which will be released sometime in late January, but apparently it'll be available for all three versions. The downloadable content will arrive in the form of seven new Time Trial maps. Time Trial is a game mode in which you race as fast as you can through a map without fear of cops or helicopters shooting you. You can then upload your best times to the game's online leaderboards. Additionally, you can download a friend's times and race against their "ghost" in an effort to best their time. The map pack will be available for 800 Microsoft Points or $10 and PS3 owners will get a bonus map (the much-ballyhooed exclusive DLC).
