Call of Duty has traditionally been a first-person shooter series. However, in Modern Warfare 2, is giving you the option of enjoying the option in third-person as well.
"It's not something you can toggle on and off in ANY game," Infinity Ward community manager Robert Bowling told Joystiq. "The special mode can only be played in private matches -- toggled on or off just like 'Hardcore' settings -- or in playlists that are designated for third-person play."
Bowling added: "This is just another cool way to play the game, you obviously will still have the option to play gametypes normal as well."
Pish posh. If God wanted us to experience life from a third-person perspective, he would've made our eyes float in the air behind our shoulders. But to each their own, I guess. Maybe it'll be a good way for Gears of War/Uncharted players to ease into the action.
