The Discovery Channel show MythBusters tests whether various myths or rumors are actually true. It's limited to the real world, though. If you want to see Modern Warfare 2 rumors put to the test, you'll need to check out Modern Warfare 2 MythBusters.

The first episode, embedded below, tests a few alleged gameplay mechanics in a 1v1 multiplayer match. For example, can you get killed by an exploding fire hydrant? The show proves that you can.

Apparently the folks making this series also made a Halo 3 MythBusters as well. It's the sort of stuff that you'll only appreciate if you play these games a lot. It's not really instructional, as most of the situations presented here are rare occurrences in actual multiplayer matches. Fun to watch, though.
