Today the Resurgence Pack for Modern Warfare 2 was released through Xbox Live. It's the second map pack for the game.

The Resurgence Pack, priced at 1200 MS points ($15), adds five more multiplayer maps. "Strike" and "Vacant" are remakes of Call of Duty 4 maps. The other three - "Fuel," "Carnival," and "Trailer Park" - are brand new.

To commemorate the DLC's release, Infinity Ward will hold another Double XP Weekend for the game. Starting on June 4th, Xbox Live gamers will be able to earn double the normal amount of XP in online matches.
