One of the biggest games from LucasArts' point-and-click adventure days is about to be rerelease. According to the the German USK rating board, a special edition of The Secret of Monkey Island is on its way to Xbox 360.

The listing, found by Gamerbytes, doesn't reveal much about the game. It's being published by Activision Blizzard, who handles the European publishing for LucasArts. Under the "language" field, it's listed as "multilingual" so Germans won't be the only ones to replay Guybrush Threepwood's adventures.

Secret, the first in the Monkey Island series, was released back in 1990 so it's definitely small enough in size to be released through Xbox Live Arcade. Wonder what a "Special Edition" entails. No doubt many adventure game fans would consider the re-release of the game to be "special."

Update: A LucasArts spokesperson has told Blend Games that they don't comment on rumors or speculation. Aww.
