North American PSP gamers can finally get their hands on a new demo for one of the coolest game franchises ever created. This awesome RPG offers some deep gameplay and tons of customizable options. And did I mention the demo is free?

According to the press release, Capcom wants everyone involved with their community affair involving the new Monster Hunter Freedom Unite demo for the PSP. In the press release, it states, “We have a full run down explaining what users have to look forward to in the demo posted on Capcom Unity. Our internal Monster Hunter Pro Shawn Baxter, who happens to work on the community site, explains everything you need to know.”

For those of you who don’t know anything about Monster Hunter, you might want to start with the Wiki page. To sum it all up in as few sentences as possible: the games are all about customizing characters and equipment and battling epic monsters to the death. It’s an awesome series, nonetheless. In fact, I would suggest for North American Wii owners to keep their eyes peeled for a possible stateside release of Monster Hunter 3. It’s a really awesome game, by the way.
