Capcom announced today that North Americans will be able to get their hands on Monster Hunter Tri, exclusively for the Nintendo Wii, in Early 2010. This announcement comes shortly after releasing the Japanese launch trailer for the highly praised Wii title, Monster Hunter 3.

Laurent Fischer, Managing Director and Marketing PR for Nintendo of Europe commented in the press release, saying…

“The popularity of the Monster Hunter franchise in Japan is undeniable and the Day 1 shipment number indicates that the release of Monster Hunter Tri on Wii will be another major hit for the series. We are therefore really excited that Capcom is bringing this title to Europe so the Wii audience here can also experience the thrill of the hunt. “

The game has some unprecedented features that are almost too grand to explain. The environments offer gamers great freedom; the items, customization features and atmospheric themes and aesthetics are simply unrivaled by any other game on the Wii; and the weapons are as unique as they are awesome. It’s very tough putting into words what a great franchise this is and just how far Capcom has taken this series with Monster Hunter Tri.
