Moonga, the hit digital collectable card game from EverdreamSoft, has officially made the jump from iDevices to Facebook. With interplay between the two platforms and an ongoing sale for additional cards, you CCG fans might want to give this latest free-to-play title a look-see.
Like pretty much every other collectable card games, Moonga lets players build decks of cards representing creatures, spells and abilities. They then use these decks in battles with other players. Already available on iOS, EverdreamSoft has announced via press release that their fantasy-themed CCG has already been downloaded more than 200,000 times.
For those starting out fresh on Facebook, firing up Moonga will net you a free starter deck of cards to play with, as well as access to the game’s tutorials. With those cards, you’ll be able to play games against your friends and strangers free of charge.
However, like most free-to-play Facebook games, there’s a way to spend some real world money. In Moonga this takes the form of loads of additional cards available for purchase, sold in randomized digital booster packs. But as a celebration for the Facebook launch, all booster packs are currently on sale for half off. Considerate, right?
For those who have already been playing Moonga on an iDevice, you will be able to log into your existing account via Facebook, alter your deck and play games. This goes likewise for those who like what they discover on Facebook and then want to go download the game elsewhere.
For more information or to play the game yourself, drop by the Moonga Facebook page.
