Capcom's has re-released six of its PSOne games to Playstation Network but five of them are available only in Japan. Luckily, this is a mistake they're about to correct.

"The first PS1 titles for PSN were submitted last week... when I have some dates for them, we'll let you know what and when is going to happen," said Capcom's Christian Svensson on Capcom's forums.

When pressed for more details by gamers, he made a follow-up post: "Word I got back this morning is that this may take a bit more time than anticipated. We'll keep folks posted. And for now I'm still not discussing what title(s) they are. We'll discuss it when we're through the pipe a bit further."

Currently, the only PSOne game available through PSN in North America is Street Fighter Alpha. The Japanese PSN has the first three Biohazard (Resident Evil) games, Dino Crisis, and Fushigi Keiji. Europe hasn't gotten any. Back in December 2008, Capcom promised PS3 owners "a whole slew of downloadable PSP and PSOne and PSone titles from our vault".
