Paradox Interactive released a new trailer for the upcoming Mount & Blade: Warband. The game actually looks darn sweet and features some seamlessly dynamic battles that take place across open fields with lots of ensuing carnage.

The game is a follow up to the original Mount & Blade from last year for PC. It featured a robust single-player campaign and full-on multiplayer feature that appealed to many gamers.

The main theme of Mount & Blade is the fact that much of the free-flow combat (which requires movement from the mouse for various strikes/attacks to be executed) comes from being mounted on a horse. The battles are quite massive and the various character types that can be played add a sense of strategic depth to the game’s overall pace.
