2K Sports sent out word that their latest in interactive basketball simulation has received a playable demo featuring two teams in one full quarter for the Xbox 360 and PS3. The demo can be plucked off either the Xbox Live Marketplace or the PlayStation Network.

As stated in the press release…
The demo will give fans will a glimpse of this year’s improvements, including revamped IsoMotionTM dribbling controls, dynamic shot control and all-new visuals in the NBA 2K11 demo.

It looks like 2K is continuing to stomp a mudhole in EA’s plans of dominating the entire video game world, and 2K’s sports division is really taking it to EA Sports. Gamers will get to see if NBA 2K11 will be able to stand toe-to-toe against EA’s NBA Elite 11, which already has a demo out and about on the digital marketplaces for consoles.

You can check out the free demo or visit the Official Website to learn more about NBA 2K11, which is due out October 8th.
