NCAA Football 09 launched on Tuesday and like any other EA Sports game, it has its share of...quirks. Some might even call them "bugs." Apparently there's some pretty big ones in this game and you might want to be aware of them before you pick up the game yet.
Brian Cook over at AOL Fanhouse has compiled a list of the bugs being picked up by fans. For example, roster editing will cause crashes, disappearing teams and unexpecting ratings changes. The sliders for changing AI difficulty don't seem to be working either. Things are a little screwy with the simulated games, too; the online dynasty mode will simulate games that were already played by humans and the two-year-old SuperSim mode results in impossible scores. There's also some griping about kick returns, but that feature always seems broken in some different way every year.
For their part, Electronic Arts is planning a fix to the roster editing bugs in the next week. A larger patch addressing other issues is also in the pipeline but there's no date on that.
