This weekend EA Sports sent out the first screenshots for NCAA Football 11. As can be expected, they look a bit shinier than NCAA Football 10's shots.
In a new blog post, art director Jean Adams points out that NCAA 11's graphics make use of linear lighting. "This lighting technique allows us to more accurately control the material properties of everything that makes up the player. To put it in basic terms, we now have control over how bright or dark things get without losing detail. It also helps us get the authentic color on the uniforms."
Adams adds that a blog post about new gameplay features will be released in a couple weeks. They'll be releasing the game in July so they can afford to slowly ration out the news.
