With a launch date that's nearly in conjunction with the release of the motion picture of a similar name, Nancy Drew and The White Wolf of Icicle Creek has officially shipped for PC. Her Interactive recently let the news fly loose, and that means that Nancy Drew fans will be solving crimes, tackling puzzles, out smarting bad guys and living it up as sleuth in no time.
The game follows the young private eye gumshoe, Nancy Drew, as she ventures to the Canadian Rockies and visits the Icicle Creek lodge to uncover the mysteries of the White Wolf. Gamers will get to exercise their sleuthing skills with numerous puzzles, and investigate a number of suspecting characters as Nancy tries to crack the case. The game will also have players venturing about in all new environments, with a bevy of new challenges to undertake.
“The qualities that have historically made Nancy Drew such an icon for generations of women – smart, gutsy, and resourceful – are resonating anew with young women everywhere. That excitement culminates this month with the launch of our game and the theatrical release of Nancy Drew,” said Megan Gaiser, President and CEO of Her Interactive. “We are excited to release Nancy Drew: The White Wolf of Icicle Creek at such an opportune time, and do so with yet another intriguing interactive mystery game experience.”
The game has shipped nationwide for the suggested, retail budget-price of $19.99. You can check out more info regarding Nancy Drew by visiting Her Interactive’s Main Website.
