Namco-Bandai America announced last week that the highly anticipated fighting game, based on the highly popular animated television series, has gone gold. Naruto Ultimate Ninja 2 is the follow-up to the smash-hit fighting game that brought some rocking one-on-one bouts to life in the most fast-paced, intense way imaginable for a PS2 game.
I’m a little disappointed that Naruto UN2 doesn’t quite have as much new stuff as I was expecting. But that doesn’t mean this won’t be a rip-roaring game. There’s 60 different challenges, 6 mini-games, 20 playable characters, a two-player versus mode and unlockable features including movies, music, collectible cards, and certificates. Replay obviously shouldn’t be a problem.
The game is officially due to hit retail shelves on June 12, so the wait isn’t much more than a month away. As usual, you can visit the Official Naruto Ultimate Ninja 2 Game Website for more information, media and game details.
