Why or why won't the PlayStation 2 die? For the life of me Sony will just not ban publishers from making stuff for this very out-dated system. I know they have the "10 year lifespan" crap, but good gosh do the PS2 games just like horrid these days. Regardless, Namco Bandai has announced that Naruto Ultimate Ninja 4: Shippuden will be exclusively available for the PlayStation 2 in March.
"Featuring the biggest roster of playable characters ever in the Ultimate Ninja franchise and a variety of new and engaging game modes, it’s everything fans need to immerse themselves in the characters and storyline of NARUTO Shippuden.” said Todd Thorson, director of marketing and public relations with NAMCO BANDA games.
The game offers up some new gameplay modes, such as Master Mode, which tells how Naruto came to the Hidden Leaf Village after training with Jiraiya. Master Mode is a mix of role-playing and real-time action adventure. Master Mode is primarily used for unlocking stuff for use in the Free Battle Mode, sort of like most Dragon Ball Z games...or previous Naruto games. The game will sport a total 52 playable characters. Wow, that's almost as many as Mortal Kombat: Armageddon.
The game is scheduled to ship exclusively for the PlayStation 2, and players can learn more about Naruto Ultimate Ninja 4: Shippuden by visiting the Official Namco Bandai Games Website. For more news and info on the latest games, be sure to stay tuned in with Blend Games.
