Namco Bandai is continuing their efforts to keep Naruto fanboys pleased until the release of the full game on October 19th, with a Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 demo, which is now available to download via either Xbox Live or the PlayStation Network.

According to the press release…
Now for the first time in the Ultimate Ninja series, online versus play will be available to let budding ninja from around the world flex their jutsu muscle. The game will also feature an evolved Support Character system where players can call upon allies to help unleash explosive Team Special Techniques upon opponents.

The game, like all its other 1001 counterparts, contains a multiple story outline that allows players to take on three branching stories, living out the expansive lives of Naruto, Sasuke and Jiraiya. Much like the 1001 Dragon Ball Z games out there, Naruto Ultimate Nina Storm 2 boasts an expansive 40 playable characters along with unlockable characters, including a few familiar faces from Tekken 6.

You can check out the demo, which is currently available for the Xbox 360 or PS3 or head to the Official Website to learn more about the game.
