Midway’s Necessary Force is a comic-book noire style action game that puts players in the role of a hard-boiled cop who just can’t take it anymore. The look and feel of the game closely resemble the likes of Max Payne but as you’ll see in the trailer it’s a lot more like a wrestling game than a shooter.

The game doesn’t look all that bad and aside from some gloppy and jerky looking animations during some segments, the feel of the atmosphere is captured rather well. It’s still tough to tell exactly how the game will be played or to what extent players will be able to exercise certain actions, but right now it seems to be a cross between The Punisher, Max Payne and Sin City.
