A couple weeks back, Eidos released a trailer for Batman: Arkham Asylum that showed off a bunch of attractive yet empty hallways in the game's main setting, an insane asylum. Now they've released another trailer showing off the deranged super villains who have taken over the facility.

The footage seems to be primarily taken from the game's initial cut scenes. It looks like Batman captured the Joker, who then promptly escapes his bonds and launches a full-scale prisoner revolt. Batman is, of course, displeased with this turn of events. The trailer's only about forty-five seconds long so it doesn't show much but there's a pretty cool shot of Killer Croc toward the end.

Batman: Arkham Asylum will be released for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC in 2009.
