This weekend Electronic Arts released a teaser trailer for Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Now they're reminding us of another Battlefield game in development, Battlefield 1943, by providing three screenshots of the game.

BF 1943 looks pretty slick for a PSN/Xbox Live game. It's powered by the Frostbite Engine used in the Bad Company games and features destructible environments. That bird's eye view of three bombers isn't a cutscene - you can actually call them in to rain down destruction on the opposing team.

BF 1943 will be released for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC this summer. At New York Comic Con, Blend Games learned that it'll cost around $15.
