As promised, EA revealed the identities of several EA Sports MMA fighters today. Seven fighters were announced in total.

Cung Le, Scott Smith, Matt Lindland, Gilbert Melendez, Robbie Lawler, Josh Thomson, and Ronaldo Souza were confirmed for the game today. All were revealed through a live chat with fans. We told you about it last night so there's no excuse for missing it, young man/woman. Unless you hate mixed martial arts and have no interest in playing a game based on it - I suppose that would be a good excuse.

EA Sports MMA is the first installment in a possible franchise. It will arrive in 2010 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
