Bethesda admitted last week that we may have to wait several years for Fallout 4. Does that mean they'll be working on another Elder Scrolls game, we wondered? Yes, yes it does.

"At the moment we've got Fallout 3 for this year and potentially there's a new Elder Scrolls title in 2010," said Bethesda publishing executive Paul Oughton (via GI.biz). Added Oughton: "At the moment we're not that interested in the Wii. We're going to stick to PS3, Xbox 360 and PC."

So two years for another giant RPG? Sounds fair. While a lot of ink was spilled wondering how much Fallout 3 would be like Oblivion, you have to wonder how much of Fallout 3 will end up in the next Elder Scrolls. I for one hope to play as a knight with the Bloody Mess perk.
