They’ve been dominating GNews for a while and now they’ve made the announcement official: Electronic Theatre is open for business. For non-UK readers, it means that they’re not quite as big as Eurogamer but they kick just as much butt.

According to the press release, “Electronic Theatre has been developing this brand new website based on requests from the Electronic Theatre community and reflecting the modern demands for streamlined access to videogames information.” Kev. J from Electronic Theatre goes on to say, “The Electronic Theatre Beta Project offered a testing ground for the new Electronic Theatre, and was welcomed by the Electronic Theatre community with open arms.”

The site offers everything you would expect from an online gaming information news outlet and then some. The new site offers profiles and comments, a new blogging system, including an industry blogs section, and a revamped forum board. Heck, you can even look for some of Blend Games’ industry news to pop up every once in a while on the Electronic Theatre Industry Blog section.
