God of War III's not coming out anytime soon but hype never goes out of season. Sony has just released a new God of War III trailer that will get all you PS3 owners hot and bothered.

SCEA shot MTV Multiplayer reassuring them all of the footage is real-time. The only sort of editing done to it was the removal of on-screen button prompts for killing minibosses and the absence of light orbs (which drop from enemies), both of which were done in the name of sexifying this here trailer.

This trailer contains a bit of the footage from 2008 VGA's but it's about three times as long and has an awesome closing shot. After tearing through multiple enemies in a forest, Kratos grabs onto a bird and flies upward. The camera pans to show that the entire battle just took place on a Titan climbing up Mount Olympus.
