Call me a sucker, but I’m in love with the idea of Facebreaker. Arcade boxing style with Pixar visuals just sounds like a good mix. Anyone who doesn’t have fond memories of Ready 2 Rumble has no soul. The question is how much this will resemble that familiar pugilistic pummeler, or will the team behind Fight Night Round 3 bring a realistic gameplay feel to the battle. We have a new trailer that we hope will be able to tell us more.

Of course, it’s a teaser trailer and like all good teases only gets you hot enough to be bothered when she pulls away. While the video is decent, it’s still just a few snippets of characters with no gameplay footage. And there’s only one moment of face breakage in the whole thing. Ah well, sometimes you get an Ali vs Fraser battle and other times you get a Tyson vs Holyfield. There are no cannibalizing moments in the trailer below, but there is some eye bulging. And that’s good enough for now.

Facebreaker has only just been announced and we expect to have many more details in the coming months. The first trailer for the game is below.
