New Global Agenda Maps And Screenshots Revealed At PAX '09

published: 2009-09-07 13:23:33
Hi-Rez Studios sent out press release reminders that assets from the Penny Arcade Expo 2009 are available for posting; this includes the revelation of new maps that will be in the game and new screenshots to showcase those maps. And being the kind folks that we are, we have those assets ripe and ready for viewing here at Blend Games.
,br> The three new maps revealed during the closed-beta of the PC MMORPG, Global Agenda include Ice-Flow, which is an escort map set outside a Siberian facility; Seaside, a map that takes place on a drilling platform on the Northern Atlantic ocean; and Climate Control, an Attack/Defend-esque map that sees players venturing about East Asian mountainsides, complete with dense forest areas.

According to Executive Producer Todd Harris…
"First-time players are hopping on a station, playing team-based missions, and then returning with additional friends to play more", …. "Our Dev Team here at PAX is thrilled to see players enjoying MMO game-play for its own sake rather than simply to level-up a character. Our booth is a grind-free zone".

Global Agenda was always a cool sounding concept, even way back during E3 2007. It’s just too bad it’s not receiving quite as much coverage as some graphically dense and gameplay thin projects out there *cough*Aion*cough*.

You can check out the new screenshots below or read up on the interview Blend Games’ Pete Haas had with Todd Harris earlier this year. Feel free to visit the Official Global Agenda Website for more info on the game and remember to stay tuned in with Blend Games for further updates, news, info and insight regarding all things gaming.
