A new story trailer has emerged for Mirror’s Edge...the game that will probably go down in history as having trailer music that was as popular as the game itself. Regardless, the new trailer lays down some info on the background story leading into the actual game’s story. There’s only one drawback to the trailer, but I’m not sure I want to say what it is.
Well, I think I will say what the problem is: it's another flash movie trailer. I guess the art-style works because of the way it’s oriented with the voice-over. But I think it could have been done slightly better. Maybe EA is saving money by promoting the game with these ugly, but stylish movies. Nevertheless, we also have some high-def screen captures for your viewing pleasure. Just scroll down past the video trailer to take a look. Also, if you’re interested in the trailer music there’s actually a link at the end of the video directing viewers to the composer’s website.
