As of late, Rare has begun an interesting ritual of releasing daily screenshots of the Xbox Live Arcade remake of Perfect Dark. They did it yesterday and today and hopefully they keep at it.

The old N64 shooter is getting a facelift for its next-gen debut so the graphics are a bit smoother and uh, high-deffer than you may remember. In truth, I haven't played Perfect Dark so I don't know why there's an alien with no pants and an Uncle Sam vest running around. There's gotta be a good story behind that, though.

The port is being handled by 4J Studios, the outfit who brought Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie to Xbox Live. Supposedly PD will hit Xbox Live on the 2009 side of this winter.
