DICE's Battlefield Heroes is once again open to public testing. The closed beta, the first phase of which ended back in November, has been re-launched.

As previously reported, players who participated in the first closed beta will automatically be allowed into the second beta. They're still accepting sign-ups for the beta and more and more people will be invited over time. However, people on the waiting list from the first beta have priority over everyone else.

Heroes, like the rest of the Battlefield series, is a multiplayer class-based shooter. Unlike rest of the series, it has a stylized, Pixar-y look and is free to play. The game is supported by a combination of in-game advertisements and purchases of optional equipment by players.
