New Xbox 360 Controller Fixes D-Pad

The directional pad has always been the weakest part of the Xbox 360 controller. With a new model, Microsoft plans to address gamers' concerns.

The new, matte silver controller comes with an adjustable D-pad. You can twist it to raise or lower the plastic surrounding the directional buttons. Therefore, you can make it into a retro "cross" d-pad or the usual "disc" shape that the normal 360 controller employs.

The controller will only be available as part of the new Play & Charge kit. It's set to hit the US on November 9th. In the video below, Microsoft's Major Nelson says that it will hit Europe sometime in February.
