New Zelda Wii Title Will Improve On Twilight Princess

So it's no secret that a majority of Zelda fans were let down by Twilight Princess, with it basically being the Nintendo Wii's version of Ocarina of Time and all. Zelda bossman, Eiji Aonuma, recently held an interview where he stated that the developers “were going to build upon Twilight Princess.

In the interview with IGN< Aonuma states, “With Twilight, we challenged ourselves to create the most vast and realistic world the series had ever seen.” He added: “But we don’t feel we were able to fully complete this objective. With that as a starting point for our improvements to the series in the future, we are of course working on a new game for Wii.”

So what will it take to make this new Zelda title a success? “For any game to be remembered for a long time, just like Ocarina of Time was, the game must give the strong impression that it has set a new starting point for future sequels to build upon," said Aonuma. "We are working to further improve upon the experiences found in Twilight Princess so that our future games can realize these innovations.”

No doubt that a new Zelda title will bring the masses back to Nintendo, but can they bring us something original this time? Only time will tell.
