The Night Of The Rabbit Enchanting Steam Now
One part Alice in Wonderland, one part Doctor Who, the latest creation of Daedalic Entertainment, The Night of the Rabbit offers gamers a chance to explore a world of wonder, magic and mystery as it officially releases for Steam on PC and Mac.
Time travel, using magic and talking to woodland creatures is all in a day’s work for young Jerry, the hero of The Night of the Rabbit. After following a white rabbit into the forest, Jerry finds himself in the land of Mousewood, a place where imagination is king and mystery lurks around every corner.
“It is here that Jerry’s dream of being a magician comes true, though a haunting, sinister force casts a long shadow over the forest,” reads a statement from developer Daedalic Entertainment on the game’s Steam page. “As the dark power rises, the residents of Mousewood have only Jerry to turn to. On an adventure full of laughter and tears, joy and fear, the young boy will face the ultimate trial, leaving behind the world he once knew, and his childhood, too, will become a thing of the past.”
A coming of age tale set in a beautifully-designed, hand-drawn world, The Night of the Rabbit is an adventure game that tasks the player with getting to know the game’s inhabitants, the strange world of Mousewood, and help its citizens take on the growing dark force. Clocking in at 20-plus hour, the folks at Daedalic promise a story-driven adventure full of wit and wonder.
The game is now available through Steam for $19.99 on Mac and PC. There’s also a Premium Edition for $24.99, which includes a digital soundtrack and additional audio stories taken straight from the game.
