Night Whisper Lane Haunts Android Devices Starting Tomorrow
What do you get when you mix a classic point and click adventure with the camp and aesthetics of old school Resident Evil and a turn-based battle system torn from the Final Fantasy series? The answer is Night Whisper Lane the hit survival horror game for iOS that is now headed to the Android platform.
After wooing horror fans on iDevices for the past couple of months, Night Whisper Lane has finally made the jump to Android, launching tomorrow, Jan. 1.
EPX Games touts Night Whisper Lane as the “first authentic survival horror gaming experience specifically designed for iOS that merges classic point and click gameplay with a turn-based battle system to help fend off whatever evil awaits you in this seemingly endless labyrinth.”
The player awakens to find they are standing in front of an ominous old house with no recollection of who they are or how they got there. Once you’re inside the house, you’ll have to use your wits and a bit of luck to survive as you try to collect items to solve puzzles, weapons to defend against various creatures and med kits to keep yourself healthy. You’ll want to be careful with your tapping, though, as vicious traps lie in wait in every room, just waiting for the player to make a mistake.
Night Whisper Lane will be made available on Google Play for Android devices starting tomorrow, Jan. 1, for $0.99. You can also pick it up anytime on iTunes or Amazon.
