From Software, the developers behind the highly lauded Armored Core series, is having a go at some ninja fighting action in their upcoming fighting-adventure game. The good news is that the game has finally gone gold and a free demo is coming within the next two weeks.
According to the press release…“when players pre-order the game at retail, they will receive a token that’s good for an exclusive “Ninja Blade” Premium Theme Pack on Xbox LIVE, a full week before anyone else. The Premium Theme Pack will include five avatar backgrounds including “Ninja Blade” weapons, Japanese Gardens and Tokyo skyscrapers.”
The game has players assuming the role of Ken Ogawa, leader of a Japanese ninja clan who must rid Tokyo of the monstrous disease that is affecting the citizens and turning them into a demonic horde. Honestly, I could say nothing different of this game than that it’s a great spin-off of Ninja Gaiden, and probably a perfect “hold-me-over game” until Ninja Gaiden fans will be able to get their hands on the next installment of the series.
The wait for Ninja Blade won’t be long, however. Microsoft also announced that a month after the demo the full game will be available. The official street date is April 17th. Be sure to stay tuned in with Blend Games for an upcoming review of the game, as well as more info and news regarding all things gaming.
