OK Ninja fans, prepare to crap your pants. The excitement that comes with having lightning quick moves, sharp blades that will dismember any enemy and ninpo magic that causes enemies to piss their pants will be unleashed on the Xbox 360 sooner than some of you might have thought. Microsoft today announced that Ninja Gaiden II will release on June 3rd.

Not only that, but we’re getting a few more details. Of course the game is fast as hell, and you’ll be dispatching hordes of enemies using your dragon sword and lunar staff. But let’s not forget that when you’ve had a particularly memorable run in with some nasty critters you want to share your triumph with friends. Itagaki showed off a saved film feature during the Microsoft Keynote today appropriately called Ninja Film. Yup, all the blood spilt by your sword will be kept on film for posterity.

June can’t get here soon enough. Still no official Gears 2 announcement though. Instead of imagining the ninja action we have new screen shots for you below.
