Getting to Ninja Gaiden II’s June 3rd release date is a bit like weaving through traffic on the Southern State Parkway on the Friday before Memorial Day at 5:30pm. As much as you yell and pound on the wheel, you’re just sitting idly by watching your precious time be wasted. When the video pretending to be a demo came by it gave us all hope. Hope that a parting of the seas would occur and we’d get to taste sweet demon hacking freedom. That was not to be.
But according to the Ninja Gaiden IIwebsite the day of freedom is soon at hand. This May a demo is on th way for our enjoyment. Of course, May could mean May 27th – which is only one week prior to the game’s release.
In order to appease us even further – thus making the wait slightly more bearable – is the announcement of exclusive content being released on April 15th. I’m not sure what that means, because isn’t everything about Ninja Gaiden II exclusive? Yeah, there might be a port to the PS3 at some point in the future, but if Metal Gear Solid 4 can lead us down the path of proclaiming preference for one console, then so can Ninja Gaiden II. In any case, it’ll probably be gamerpics and other crap you don’t want to pay for. If it happens to be Ninja Audit Protection Services I’ll line up for some of that action.

It's too bad it's not coming to the PS3, but oh well. Have plenty to keep my time occupied anyway ;)
