Came across this on Digg, oddly enough. I suppose it was an odd way to come across the news, but news is news, right? Of course it is. For PS3 owners this is definitely going to be a good lead-in to a few other third-person action titles on the way. The only problem is that there’s no confirmation on a North American release date.

According to an article on PS3 Insider, there was some news uncovered from Japanese magazine, Famitsu. Not only did the magazine uncover that the game was heading toward the PS3, but there’s also some new additions to the game, so all you ninja-wannabes will get a good dose of the following:

- More ninjaness than ever before

- New weapon - spiked hammer "Genma"

- Less slimy lighting, because less slime is better

- New giant boss battles not in the 360 version

- More boobage physics (because Ryu loves his booby)

- New playable character - female ninja Ayane
