Nintendo At E3: Call Of Duty World At War DS And Wii Screens Hey hardcore gamers, Nintendo hasn’t forgotten about you…not completely. To prove it the Big N has sent out some uninspiring screens of the Wii and DS versions of Call of Duty: World At War. Oh my goodness the game looks jaggy as hell on Nintendo hardware. But if they can finally get the controls down I’ll forgive them. Of course Nintendo showed the game off with the zapper plastic piece of junk casing. So, that’s not a good start.

I’ll agree with Nintendo Global President Satoru Iwata that we don’t always need bigger and better graphics, even if we pine for them when absent. It is always the gameplay that makes a game great. Always. But past experience with shooters on the Wii have proven less than favorable in that regard. It’s odd because from day one the consensus was that Wii could potentially do shooters better than any other console.

Ah well, take a look at the gallery below for some heart wrenching shots of Call of Duty: World at War for the Wii and DS.
