Nintendo eShop Gets Minis On The Move, Resident Evil Demo
It’s pretty slim pickings on the Nintendo eShop this week, but Donkey Kong and Mario (along with his Mini buddies) will keep gamers busy on the 3DS while Wii U owners will be able to take Resident Evil Revelations for a test drive in the latest demo.
If you’re gaming on the Nintendo 3DS, then you’ll finally be able to dip into Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move later this week. Available through the 3DS eShop, Minis on the Move is a spinoff of the Mario vs. Donkey Kong series, tasking players with solving puzzles in order to create a path through each cleverly designed level.
speedX 3D Hyper Edition will also be available on the 3DS this week with Publisher Dream launching for both the 3DS and DSi.
If you’re rocking Nintendo’s latest home console, the Wii U, then your options this week are limited to an NES classic and a zombie-blasting demo. First up, on the Virtual Console, Wii U owners will be able to get their hands on the vertically scrolling shooter, Xevious.
If shooting the undead in the face is more your speed, then you’ll be able to play a demo of Resident Evil Revelations sometime this week. A remake of the 3DS game, Revelations offers HD graphics, an enhanced “sound experience” and additional content including new enemies, a new difficulty mode and more. Look for this one on May 14.
Finally, the Nintendo eShop for Wii U is offering a 50 percent discount this week on Chasing Aurora, a multiplayer game that sees players guiding birds through challenging arenas. This offer is available now and good through May 16.
