PC gamers hoping to fritter away extra money on a Collector's Edition of Modern Warfare 2 are out of luck. It seems only Xbox 360 and PS3 owners will get the opportunity.

"There will be no PC version of either collectors' editions," Infinity Ward community manager Ryan Bowling told IGN.

The PS3 and Xbox 360 have two options for Collector's Editions. The $80 "Hardened" Edition comes with an art book and voucher to download Call of Duty on Xbox Live Arcade or PSN while the $150 "Prestige" Edition has all that and a pair of night vision goggles. PC gamers have been able to play the original Call of Duty for about six years now so the voucher's not a big loss. Shame they'll never be able to see in the dark, though.
