If you end up picking up the Resident Evil 5 red Xbox 360 bundle, you may not have to worry about it getting a matching red ring of death. Yep, it's a Jasper.

The so-called "Jasper" revision to the Xbox 360 includes a redesigned motherboard with a new 65-nanometer graphic chip. It's said to prevent the infamous "red ring of death" hardware failure that's slain many a 360 since the console first launched. Microsoft's Major Nelson confirmed that the limited edition blood red 360 has the revised hardware in this video (via Eurogamer). Note that he says this Xbox 360 comes with a 150W power supply, one of the signature features of the Jasper.
