No Region Lock For Army Of Two: The 40th Day

One of the strange little quirks of Army of Two was the fact that the online play was restricted by region. No such region lock will exist for the sequel, Army of Two: The 40th Day.

"NOPE! No region lock!" tweeted the Army of Two team when queried by a fan. The reason why the original game was region-locked was because of latency concerns. Also, EA had claimed that the Asian version was censored and that cross-region play would cause syncing problems.

Army of Two: The 40th Day hits Europe on January 8th and North America on January 12th. Trans-Atlantic fragging will follow shortly thereafter.
