The headline may read like a rip-off of Activision’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare franchise, but in reality it’s something completely different. The game is being designed as a genre-erasing modern combat action-strategy game for the PC and Xbox 360.

Interwave released the official debut trailer for the game, featuring in-engine footage. Nuclear Dawn is powered by Valve’s Source Engine and is a multiplayer title scheduled for release in 2010. The gameplay mirror’s the likes of other genre-merging games, such as the MMOFPS versus MMORTS, BattleSwarm: Field of Honor by Reality Gap.
