Oblivion Graphics Compared On 360 And PS3 Here’s one for the forums. Videos of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion on the Xbox 360 and PS3 compared side by side for all the fanboys out there who are far too wrapped up in the minutia of the system experience to actually appreciate the fact that Oblivion is one of the greatest games ever made.

As expected, the differences between the two are actually pretty negligible when considering that the gameplay is so perfect. But purely as a tech discussion, this does show that the PS3 version looks better. There’s a bunch of mumbo jumbo about shaders and draw distances that we could go into, but once again it’s all pretty unimportant.

It is notable that this represents the visual quality of the 360 version as it stands. There will be a patch released in the coming months that plans to eliminate some of the graphical problems present in the 360 version that were ironed out for the PS3. But for now, PlayStation lovers can have their moment in the sun as the PS3 finally gets some decent press.
