As much fun as it's been to speculate on whether or not Epic Mickey is or isn't a Wii exclusive, the issue's finally been resolved. Game Informer, whose next issue contains the first look at Mickey, confirmed that EM is indeed an exclusive for the Nintendo console.

"We were trying to save this nugget for when the magazine hits this coming Monday, but it seems the rumor mill has gotten out of control and it is time to put it in its place," read an announcement on GameInformer.com. "Disney Epic Mickey is indeed a Wii Exclusive. If there is another version in the works out there for another system, we certainly aren't aware of it."

GI's been releasing information on the site to supplement the upcoming issue's preview. On Monday, they let slip that the game was a Wii exclusive. However, soon afterward, they scrubbed any mention of the Wii from the site, which cast a bit of doubt on the exclusivity.
