Today Codemasters announced the release dates for their military shooter Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising. It will ship to stores in North America on October 6th in North America and October 8th in EPAC territories.

Note that those are shipping dates and not street dates, though. Those are the days the game will be transported to retailers, so expect to actually get your hands on the game about a day or two later. However, Codemasters did reveal the exact date it will arrive in stores in the UK, though: October 9th.
