Outrun Online Arcade Gets Groovy With Drifting For gamers who never knew what made Outrun such a fan-favorite arcade title from the yester-years, can get a glimpse into the new rendition of the arcade classic for the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. For those of you who never seen the new Outrun Online Arcade title can get a glimpse at some groovy drifting techniques in the new video trailer.

This newest Outrun is purely casual arcade fun. The game features some updated graphics, a lot of the same [chip] tunes that made the game famous in the first place, and a whole lot of heart-stopping drifts.

Honestly, to be a title made for the lesser XBLA and PSN platforms, the game shows a heck of a lot of polish and panache. I’m somewhat shocked Sega invested as much as they did into a budget-title like this.
