Despite rumors of a timed exclusive, action-adventure game Mirror's Edge will be arriving on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on the same day. Doesn't mean PS3 owners won't be able to gloat, though - they'll be getting exclusive downloadable content after the game's release.
The news of the exclusive DLC comes via a Sony spokesperson who spoke with Eurogamer. No details on what sort of additional content it will be or when it would be released. The lack of info isn't surprising, given that the game itself doesn't even have a solid release date (the estimate is November 11th for the States).
There's still some slight glimmer of hope for PC and Xbox 360 owners, though. The news of this DLC came via a Sony rep so it's possible there's also different exclusive content planned for other platforms. If not, PC owners can take comfort in the fact that premium console content has a tendency to released on PC for free.
